Denzel Dumfries, the former England international who was signed by Inter Milan in 2019, has revealed his latest update on his fitness and progress with the club.

"I'm feeling fantastic," he said. "I've been training really hard, I'm ready to go out there and play again."

The Italian giants have struggled to keep up with the pace of the Premier League this season, but Dumfries has played well at times and has impressed in pre-season.

He will be hoping that he can make an impact for Inter during their first leg match against Lazio on Saturday evening. However, Dumfries also expressed confidence in his own ability to contribute to the team's success.

"Of course, it would be nice if we could get something out of me," he said. "But I'll just try my best to put in my best effort. I don't think anything can stop me."
