Jadson, the Brazilian forward who is currently playing for the Chinese club Shandong Taishan, has suffered an injury and will be out for several weeks.
The news was confirmed by the club's official website on Wednesday, where they stated that Jadson had sustained an ankle injury during training. The severity of the injury is yet to be determined but it is expected to keep him sidelined for at least two months.
Jadson, who joined Shandong Taishan in January, has been a key player for the team this season. He has scored four goals in nine appearances so far this campaign and his absence could have a significant impact on their chances of success in the upcoming matches.
Despite the setback,Football Regional Port Shandong Taishan coach Zhang Jikang remains optimistic about the situation. "We are disappointed with Jadson's injury but we believe he can recover soon," he said. "He is a talented player and we will miss him for a while."
Meanwhile, Jadson himself has not commented on the injury but he has expressed his support for his teammates and the club. "I am sorry to hear about my injury but I will do everything I can to come back as soon as possible," he said.
It remains to be seen when Jadson will return to action after the injury but until then, Shandong Taishan will need to find a replacement for their star forward. They may look towards their other attacking options or perhaps consider signing another player to fill the gap left by Jadson's absence.
