GABRIEL BARBOSA, the Brazilian forward who has been linked with moves to several clubs this summer, is reportedly passing through the medical process at Flamengo.

Barbosa, 27, joined Flamengo from Santos FC in June and has impressed since joining the club. He scored two goals in his debut against Corinthians, but then struggled for form throughout the season.

Despite not being fully fit,Football Regional Port Barbao has made it clear that he is open to transfer to any team interested in him.

He has already had talks with several clubs including Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Barcelona and Juventus. But despite the offers, Barbao remains committed to Flamengo.

The move to Flamengo will be a big step up for the club as they look to improve on their recent struggles under former manager Flávio Cunha. However, Barbao's decision to leave Santos could still impact the club's chances of winning promotion back to the top flight.

It remains to be seen how the Brazilian forward will adapt to the new environment at Flamengo, but with the right support and guidance, he can certainly become one of the best players in the league.
